Call for Submissions

The 2026 ISPIM Innovation Conference, “Connecting for Innovation”, is a three-day event that brings 600 innovation management professionals from over 50 countries to the city of Granada, a historic and contemporary crossroads of cultures and innovation in southern Spain.

The conference will engage with Granada as a thriving ecosystem of research, industry and innovation, recognised internationally for its IFMIF-DONES (Fusion particle accelerator and test facility), OnTech Innovation (Southern Europe’s biggest Technology Cluster), the prestigious University of Granada (ranked in 3rd in Spain and leading the way in several fields, including ICT, Pharma and AI research and application with the Andalusian Digital Agency). Additionally, PTS Granada is a unique ecosystem of companies, research centres, educators and healthcare providers, all dedicated to improving our lives through combining health and technology.

And we should not forget the city’s commitment to a future as a Smart City, with an important transformation towards sustainable agriculture practices, and tourism centred on the incomparable Alhambra and one of the most original cuisines to be found in Spain and is widely consider the home of Tapas.

Granada embraces the future through innovation, digitalisation, and collaborative transformation, but at the same time, its strengths are clear: a thriving knowledge economy centred around its prestigious university, a vibrant tech, science and health innovation scene and deep-rooted traditions of culture, partnership and creativity.

This unique blend of heritage and forward-thinking makes Granada an ideal setting for “Connecting for Innovation”. ISPIM encourages examples and insights into successful innovation practice, challenges or research from all regions of the world. If you are in doubt, please discuss your idea with an email to admin@ispim.org.
