Málaga Airport to Granada

If you are not travelling directly to Granada by air or rail, but instead choose to fly into Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport to take advantage of more frequent or direct flight connections, onward travel to Granada is straightforward, with a range of convenient transport options available:

By Direct Bus: A direct coach service operated by ALSA runs from the airport to Granada Bus Station. The journey takes around 2 hours, with regular departures throughout the day. This is the most cost-effective and simple option, with departures located just outside the terminal.

​

By Train (via Málaga City): Rail travel is a comfortable alternative. First, take a short train or taxi ride (approx. 15 minutes) from the airport to Málaga María Zambrano station, then continue to Granada with Renfe. Total journey time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Please see below for discounted travel.

Private Transfer or Taxi: For maximum convenience, private transfers or taxis provide a door-to-door service in approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. This option is ideal for small groups or delegates arriving with luggage. Pre-booking is recommended. We can recommend booking via airportstaxitransfers.com.
